Morpheus was designed by Carl Schumacher, built by Davie Norris Boatbuilders in New Zealand and launched in 2002. She spent her first 18 months cruising the South Pacific before reaching her home port of San Francisco. Since that time, Morpheus has been raced and cruised extensively. This blog will document her ongoing adventures.

Siem Reap, Angkor Wat and... Fish massages?
Siem Reap has recently jumped onto the international tourism radar with the "rediscovery" of the Angkor Wat temples and the fact that the country is finally recovering from the brutal Khmer Rouge regime of the 1970's. And with the steady flow of tourist dollars the city has undergone some major developments in the last few years, downtown is now jam-packed with bars serving 50 cent (or less) draught beers, street vendors selling banana pancakes and these little spicy pork sandwiches that were awesome, and one of the weirdest things I have experienced in southeast Asia, a fish massage. Basically, it is a large tank filled with these little fish that eat the dead skin off your feet. It's hard to describe how it feels, it's not painful but just knowing that 50 little fish are scraping at your feet takes a long time to get used to. Overall Siem Reap was a fun town but four days was plenty of time to see everything
