Bangkok tomorrow

I jump on the night bus back to Tokyo in a couple hours and after killing one last day in tokyo I board a plane to Bangkok tomorrow night. Japan has been an amazing experience, at times frustrating but always exciting. I am still figuring out my travel plans after I land in Bangkok but as of right now I'm leaning towards heading down to Sumatra, Indonesia relatively quickly and then working my way north through the Malaysian peninsula and southern Thailand. After that who knows, Laos? Cambodia? Vietnam?
