With each passing week, the temperature for these "races" seems to be getting warmer and warmer, while at the same time the amount of wind seems to be declining to near zero!!
Morpheus was designed by Carl Schumacher, built by Davie Norris Boatbuilders in New Zealand and launched in 2002. She spent her first 18 months cruising the South Pacific before reaching her home port of San Francisco. Since that time, Morpheus has been raced and cruised extensively. This blog will document her ongoing adventures.

Half Moon Bay Race
Well, we started in a perfect 10-15knots of breeze which held all the way to the first mark, but as soon as we made the turn to the South for Half Moon Bay, the wind started to die and shift to the South. Eventually, after passing the same lobster pot three times, we decided to head home and keep our families happy!!
