Morpheus was designed by Carl Schumacher, built by Davie Norris Boatbuilders in New Zealand and launched in 2002. She spent her first 18 months cruising the South Pacific before reaching her home port of San Francisco. Since that time, Morpheus has been raced and cruised extensively. Mike - Get well soon!!
Deb and I are wishing Mike Wallach a quick and successful recovery from his recent shoulder surgery. Unfortunately, it was surgery that was required after he injured himself during the last part of our Atlantic Crossing.

Thanks for the kind words. According to the surgeon everything went very well and all the tendons and muscles are properly anchored and attached yet again. Of course, asking the surgeon what he thought of his surgery is a bit like asking Bob whether he thought he did a good job on watch warning the crew that we were about to get gob-smacked by a largish wave.
