The last few weeks have flown by. We have enjoyed visits by Gibb and Tory Kane, as well as Denise Quackenbush and Suzanne Rischman.
However, always lurking in the back of our minds has been the pending logistics involved in finding a spot for the winter and the requirement to get Morpheus out of the EU for a day to avoid import taxes.
The tax planning is most urgent. We have considered Tunisia, Turkey, and Gibraltar to address this concern.
We have also considered Turkey, Sicily, Barcelona, and the Canary Islands for a winter home for Morpheus.
At this point, we are pretty sure that Gibraltar will be our tax solution, and then Barcelona or the Canary Islands will be Morpheus' winter home.
So, don't be surprised when you see us back tracking to Sardinia, Menorca, and southern Spain over the next couple of weeks.
Denise and Suzanne leave us tomorrow. We may get going tomorrow as well
Summer is definitely over, we need to get going before the weather becomes a real issue.
