I was happily surprised to see a number of Volvo 70's in their cradles along the Alicante waterfront, and even happier to discover that their was a museum focused on the race just a few hundred yards (meters) from our slip!! Enough of this 2,000 year old stuff...
The museum was interesting, but ultimately I was not representative of its target audience. Everything is very "dumbed" down and it is trying to reach out to a non sailing audience.
Lot's of great photo's and history though. I enjoyed my visit.
