Morpheus was designed by Carl Schumacher, built by Davie Norris Boatbuilders in New Zealand and launched in 2002.
She spent her first 18 months cruising the South Pacific before reaching her home port of San Francisco.
Since that time, Morpheus has been raced and cruised extensively. This blog will document her ongoing adventures.

The Trades are Blowing Hard!!
Our forecast has winds in excess of 20 knots here in the BVI for the next four days. That's just one of the reasons why it looks like we will sit tight here in Virgin Gorda for at least that long.
Our friends Kevin and Meg (from Newport, RI) show up today after multiple flights, three ferry rides, and a taxi trip!
Torben Bentsen's Birthday Party is on the 13th here at Saba Rock.
And most importantly, our new dinghy arrives on the 13th.
